We are excited to announce that the Auburn University Association of Student Social Workers will be holding a drive to collect stuffed animals for us! On April 5, the club will be holding a movie night on their campus and admission will be a new stuffed animal. The stuffed animals collected will be donated to the Twin Cedars organization. Twin Cedars is an organization that assists with many different realms of child services. A few of their services include a child advocacy center that does forensic interviewing for children who have been abused, a supervised visitation center to help rebuild families in hopes for more stability in the child’s life, many different children’s homes, and several other programs. We are excited about what will come as a result of this drive. Our hope for this drive is to bring awareness to the many children suffering from trauma in the Auburn community.
